Microsoft Store Celebrates With Music, Eli Manning

The ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Saturday morning.

The Microsoft Store's grand opening started with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, when Microsoft corporate vice president Kathleen Hogan performed the cutting and presented a $1 million check to a local chapter of Junior Achievement for software grants.

The store officially opened at 10 a.m., and the celebration is scheduled to last throughout Saturday, culminating in a 7 p.m. performance by Grammy-Award nominated band One Republic on Saturday night.

On Sunday, at 11 a.m., the festivities continue when customers are given a chance to play Kinect with Super Bowl champion Eli Manning of the New York Giants.
