Roman Jewelers Moving to Standalone Store

It will open in the former AAA building on Commons Way.

It was once an insurance company, and soon it will be a jewelry store.

According to Howard Turbowitz, economic development officer for Bridgewater, the township approved an application for Roman Jewelers to move from the Bridgewater Commons Mall to the former AAA Travel and Insurance building on Commons Way.

“[Roman Jewelers] has received board approval to renovate, and will open their store at this location,” he said.

As for AAA Travel and Insurance, the company currently has a temporary location on Route 206 in Raritan, Turbowitz said.

But the company is not done with Bridgewater.

“It is looking to build out a new permanent location in Bridgewater, and has been in discussion with the township for a location on Route 22,” Turbowitz said.
