“Technology is making the world smaller, allowing businesses of any size to consider entering the global marketplace,” commented Rich Cohen, Senior Vice-President of PNC Wealth Management. “This session will provide the basic information needed to consider the decision on going global and how to execute the plan once the decision is made to proceed.”
Among the specific issues to be addressed are: general corporate planning and methods of conducting business; international letters of credit and reducing financial risk; foreign exchange issues addressing risks and challenges of operating overseas; tax issues focusing on compliance and the implications of non-compliance.
Presenters include Michele Stacey, Vice-President of International Banking Group at PNC Bank, Robert C. Gabrielski, Esq., Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus, Jeffrey Placido, Director of Foreign Exchange for PNC Capital Markets, and Kimberlee Phelan of WithumSmith+Brown.
