As consumers shop for friends and family this holiday season, Green Leaf’s and Bananas - the feel good, taste good, be good choice for consumers - are giving Facebook fans a chance to be good to themselves with the Good For You Giveaway.
“The holidays can be an extremely stressful time for many, and we wanted to give our fans a reason to celebrate,” says CEO Anthony Scotto. “For us, that means giving them a chance to be good to themselves by entering to win great prizes that will help them refuel, unwind or give back.”
Beginning Nov. 18, 2013 through Dec. 30, 2013, Green Leaf’s and Bananas Facebook fans can enter the Good For You Giveaway for a chance to win one of three prize packages that best fits their lifestyles, including:
- Feel Good: $500 worth of gift cards to Amazon, Massage Envy and Athleta to help you look and feel amazing.
- Taste Good: For the foodies, $500 worth of gift cards to Harry & David and Vine, and a 6-month subscription to NatureBox.
- Be Good: A donation of $500 will be given in the winner’s name to a charity of their choosing.
“What better way to celebrate the Season of Giving than with an opportunity to have a charity of your choice receive a significant donation,” says Kurt Becker, owner of the Bananas location at Bridgewater Commons. “I see every day how many great people come to our stores, especially during the Holiday Season, as they shop for gifts for loved ones. To know that one of them have a chance to win the “Be Good” prize and give to a charity near and dear to their heart is probably the best gift of all.”
Each week, fans can enter the Good For You Giveaway through an app on the company’s Facebook page, and by ‘SHARING’ the promotion with an unlimited number of friends, fans will earn an additional entry for each friend that enters the sweepstakes. Three lucky winners will be chosen at random (one from each prize category) on or about Jan. 10, 2014. The sweepstakes is eligible to residents of the U.S. and District of Columbia who are 18 years and older. Fans must ‘LIKE’ Green Leaf’s and Bananas on Facebook and enter to win through the Good For You Giveaway Facebook app by Dec. 30, 2013. No purchase necessary.
