FREE SCRAP METAL REMOVAL

The Scrap Hounds is a Bridgewater based, family owned business servicing Somerset, Hunterdon, Morris and Union Counties.  We provide FREE pick-up of all metals from residential, commercial and municipal sites.  We take all types of metals including steel, iron, copper, brass, aluminum, lead, stainless steel, all types of wires, BX cable and electric motors.

Items include:

  • Washers
  • Dryers
  • Refrigerators
  • Dishwashers
  • Hot Water Heaters
  • Air Conditioners
  • Microwaves
  • Ovens
  • And much more!!!

 We also take any type of metal debris such as:

  • Fences and Posts
  • Gutters and Leaders
  • Metal pools
  • Bicycles
  • BBQ Grills
  • Metal Ladders
  • Car Parts
  • Tractors/Lawn Mowers
  • Swing Sets/Trampolines
  • Farm Equipment
  • Lawn Furniture
  • Bathtubs/Sinks
  • Car Batteries
  • Computer Towers
  • And Much More!!!

We also remove electronic items such as televisions, radios, stereos, DVD/CD players and computer monitors.  However, there is a minimal fee associated with this service as these items are not considered scrap metal.

For FREE pick-up, all items must be ground level (driveway, garage, yard).  If going up or down stairs is necessary for removal, this requires a second man, and a minimal charge is necessary (usually $20-$30 depending on the number and stairs and number of items to be removed).  This is a cover all fee.  THERE IS NO PER ITEM CHARGE!!!
