Bear Sighting on Mountain Top Road

A Mountain Top Road resident reported that a bear walked through his backyard around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Barry Walker said that he saw the bear walking through his backyard, and that he never saw it before.

"It went up on my neighbor's deck and then came over to our house," he said. "It walked around the patio and under the deck, then left and went east to my neighbor's yard and into the woods."

Walker said another neighbor said they had seen the bear earlier Tuesday.
