Flood Advisory Until 8:45 p.m.

Rain falling at rate of an inch or more an hour.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for northern Somerset County and all of Morris and Hunterdon counties until 8:45 p.m. Friday.

At 4:44 p.m., a line of moderate to heavy rainfall was moving into the area and producing rainfall rates of an inch or more per hour, according to the National Weather Service.

Runoff from the rain will cause flooding of highways, streets and underpasses as well as other low-lying area and areas that typically have bad drainage.
