More Than 10K People Enrolled in School

Discussions always abound about how many students are in the schools, how many are going to be coming in and whether redistricting is necessary—and in Bridgewater, that decision is made based on about 10,000 children over age 3 in town.

American Factfinder provides numerical information about the township based on the most recent census.

In Bridgewater, there are 10,463 people ages 3 and over who are enrolled in school.

Of that, 807 are enrolled in a nursery school or preschool, and 382 are enrolled in kindergarten.

Elementary school, which is listed as representing grades one through eight, is seeing 4,816 students.

High school, grades nine through 12, has 2,251 students.

Finally, there are 2,207 people enrolled in college or graduate school.
