Mosquito Spraying Scheduled for Thursday

It is done to protect against West Nile.

The county is planning to do mosquito adulticiding to protect against West Nile Virus Thursday, with spraying scheduled for several locations, including two spots in Raritan.

This is a chemical treatment applied against adult mosquitos in the area.

In Raritan, the adulticiding will be done on Arnold Avenue South to Old York Road between Woodmere and Weiss, as well as Frelinghuysen South to Railroad Avenue between Victoria Street and Route 206.

In addition, the county is performing the work on the east side of Main Street in Manville, and the areas south of Route 22 between Washington Avenue and Rock Avenue in Green Brook.

In North Plainfield, the work is being done at Greenbrook Road South to Parkview Avenue between Harrington and Lawrence, and the areas west of West End Avenue.
