Most Paying More Than $2K in Housing Costs

Census data shows more than 8,000 homes in town are mortgaged.

Housing costs are varied throughout Bridgewater, with most residents paying more than $2,000 per month with a mortgage, according to information from the most recent Census.

American Factfinder, through the United States Census Bureau, has gathered data about residents in the country, and breaks down the selected monthly owner costs and more through each individual town.

In Bridgewater, there are a total of 8,666 housing units with a mortgage.

From there, 6,719 homeowners are estimated to pay $2,000 or more every month. And a total of 1,014 homeowners pay from $1,500 to $1,999 each month.

According to the report, 685 homeowners pay between $1,000 and $1,499, and 206 pay between $700 and $999.

Finally, 42 homeowners pay between $500 and $699.

No homeowners in the township pay less than $499.

As for housing units without a mortgage, there are a total of 2,827, and 2,739 pay $400 or more.

From there, 36 pay between $300 and $399, and 34 pay between $100 and $199. Finally, 11 families pay less than $100, and seven pay between $200 and $299.
