Most Residents Have Bachelor's Degree

This week, we look at education levels in Bridgewater.

With the recent census information gathered, and the more than 26,000 people in Bridgewater ages 25 and over, a majority have earned their bachelor’s degree.

American Factfinder, through the United States Census Bureau, has gathered data about residents in the country, and breaks down highest educational achievement and more through each individual town.

In Bridgewater, the data looks at 26,045 people ages 25 years and over.

Of that data, 7,862 of them have their bachelor’s degree, and, in a close second, 6,424 have a graduate or professional degree.

From there, 4,060 have attended some college, but have no degree, and 4,523 are high school graduates.

A total of 1,656 people have their associate’s degree.

Finally, 856 people have education less than ninth grade, and 664 have ninth through 12th grade education, but no diploma.
