Representatives will talk to Bridgewater residents about their response to the storm.

Bridgewater Township is going to be serving as host for a public meeting with Public Service Electric & Gas representatives Wednesday to discuss responses to Superstorm Sandy.

The meeting will be held 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in conference room 102 of the municipal complex on Commons Way.

The meeting will be presided over by councilman Matthew Moench.

"They will speak a little bit about their operation, preparation, response and Bridgewater-specific issues," Moench said at a recent council meeting. "And there will be some time afterward if people want to talk informally."

According to a release on the township’s website, the purpose of the meeting will be for PSE&G to provide information on the response and restoration procedures following the storm.

PSE&G representatives will be providing information to members of the public in attendance, and there will be an opportunity for residents to ask questions.

But, according to the release, PSE&G will not be able to answer questions about specific power outages in individual residences. Instead, representatives will be able to address overall questions about the response.

Members of the public will be allowed two minutes to speak each.

Questions about the meeting can be directed to Bridgewater Township Clerk Linda Doyle at bwtclerk@bridgewaternj.gov.
