Joke Turned Tragic in Teen Drowning, Police Say

A 19-year-old Elizabeth man died Sunday after being pulled from the Raritan River following a joke with a friend that turned into the tragedy. Police were able to recuscitate him, but he died at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
