Bridgewater Township Council: Mary Pranzatelli

Democratic challenger for three-year term.

Democrat Mary Pranzatelli is making a second bid for a seat on the Bridgewater Council.

A lifelong township resident, she belongs to the Bridgewater-Bound Brook Rotary Club, Bound Brook Elks Lodge, and serves as vice-president for the local chapter of the National Organization of Women.

She said her management experience as a business manager at Bloomingdale's and Saks Fifth Avenue will help her on the council, which she says hasn't been forthcoming enough with information on litigation and other costs for the township.

"I will insist the need for meetings to be aired publicly to provide the transparency needed to expose all the issues and the costs, giving the Bridgewater residents the checks and balances system that American government is famous for,” she told MyCentralJersey.com.
