Bridgewater Township Council: Allen Kurdyla

Allen Kurdyla is seeking re-election to his third term on the Bridgewater Township Council, where he is currently liaison to Bridgewater Commons, Emergency Services Department, the Somerset County Community Development Consortium, the Open Space Advisory Committee and the Raritan and Millstone Flood Commission.

He is a volunteer firefighter with the Finderne Volunteer Fire Co., and has served as a fire commissioner for 35 years.

Kurdyla said his primary concerns on the council have been trying to preserve open space, as well as maintaining the township's ratable base. He told the BReeze.com that, if re-elected, he would continue to review the cost effectiveness of the recent decision to have the county perform the township's 9-1-1 dispatching, and the yard waste site.
