Edward Rachofsky, MD, a Somerset Medical Center interventional cardiologist and internist, and Robin Lucas, MD, a Somerset Medical Center pulmonologist and internist, will discuss the link between chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and congestive heart failure (CHF), the difficulty in identifying the source of breathing symptoms, how COPD affects right-versus left-sided CHF, triggers to prevent hospital admission, diagnostic tests to differentiate one another and the latest treatments.
