Bridgewater Garden Club meeting

As autumn takes over the landscape, favorite summer residents such as butterflies will disappear until next year. The Bridgewater Garden Club opens its new year in October with a program on “Beautiful Butterflies” presented by Marie Comerford, a longtime science and math teacher in Bridgewater schools. Marie will present information following the butterflies’ migration, reproduction rituals and what we can do to welcome them when they return. She will provide guidance as to the plantings that will encourage them to stay in our yards and to prepare them for their next migration.

Bridgewater Garden Club returns to the Bridgewater Library Tuesday, Oct 22. The public is invited to attend the program which will begin about 10:45. All programs are free and are varied as to their content. The November meeting will be “Celebrate the Season” focusing on designs for holiday tables.
