Bridgewater Township Council Meeting

The Bridgewater Township Council will hold an agenda meeting at 6:30 p.m., followed by a regular meeting.

On the agenda is a public hearing on an ordinance to vacate portions of Morris Street.

During a closed session, the council members will also discuss last week's reversal of a Planning Board decision denying the application by the Al Falah Center to build a mosque on Mountain Top Road in 2011. U.S. District Judge Michael Shipp, in Trenton, ordered the township to reconsider the center's application, without considering an ordinance limiting the location of houses of worship to certain roads and neighborhoods that was passed after the mosque application had been introduced.
