"Bypassing the Bypass: Laugh and Learn the 5 Secrets to
Living Heart Happily”  event will be held Thursday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at
the Holiday Inn in Somerset, NJ. Shivang Trivedi, MD, a cardiologist and internist
at Somerset Medical Center, will help you understand the causes of coronary
artery disease, symptoms, diagnostic tools and the differences between
treatments such as heart valve replacement surgery, bypass and other
nonsurgical options. Comedian Frank King will provide a light-hearted account
of how he had two heart valve replacements and a double bypass and lived to
joke about it.
