As you might be aware, there is a proposed 18 home development of the former Wemple property at 440 Foothill Road. Additionally, included in this proposed development are 4 Class IV dams. If you have children who attend or family who work at the middle school on Foothill Road we urge you to attend this final meeting tonight at 7pm at the Municipal Building. The dams are a serious safety concern for all township residents. Some quick math on what one of these dams could contain:
1 acre=43,560 sq. ft. * 3 ft. =130,680 cu. ft. * 7.481 gals. / cu. ft.
= 977,617 gals. * 8.3 lbs./gal. = 8,114,221 lbs. of water/dam.
