Living with RSDS "INvisible Project" Reception

WHO: Living with RSDS, Inc. a local nonprofit organization who supports, educates, and informs, those persons affected with reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome (RSDS)/ chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS), their families, friends,  co-workers,  and the medical community treating RSDS, about the importance of early diagnosis and the suffering this syndrome brings to all involved.
WHAT:  A photo journalistic display about persons living with chronic pain that will be available the month of September. There will be a reception co-sponsored by the Somerset County Library on Tuesday Sept. 10 starting at 5:30 PM with refreshments, presentations by medical professionals, a display, and art project for kids to express their feelings about themselves or family members with chronic pain.

WHY:  September is designated as National Pain Awareness Month and Living with RSDS, Inc supports those with chronic pain as well as friends and family. The goal of US Pain’s The Invisible Project is to make visible the experiences and challenges associated with chronic pain that are often hidden. The project was brings to light the nearly 75 million Americans who deal with pain.www.invisibleproject.org
