Somerville Elks Lodge Chili and Chowder Cookoff

Maggiano’s Executive Chef Jim McGrady will host the Somerville Elks Lodge #1068 first annual CHILI AND CHOWDER COOK-OFF on Sunday, October 27th with the doors opening at 2 PM. 

Several categories of entries are possible for home cooks and they are red chowder, white chowder, traditional chili and unique chili.  Entrants must supply a minimum of two (2) gallons of their chili or chowder and own heat source (crock-pot). 

All entrants will receive a t-shirt and be eligible to win a Somerville Elks Lodge Chili and Chowder Master Chef jacket and Taste of the Town packages worth $100.  Runners up will be awarded a $25.00 gift card to Maggiano’s.  The event will be held at the Lodge at 350 Union Avenue, Bridgewater.
