Far Hills Country Day School to Host Largest Secondary School Fair on the East Coast

Far Hills, NJ – Far Hills Country Day School (FHCDS) will be hosting its annual Secondary School Fair on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 3:45 – 5:00 pm located at 697 Mine Brook Road/Route 202 in Far Hills, NJ.  This event is free and open to the public and is the largest secondary school fair on the East Coast.  Approximately 120 boarding and day schools will be in attendance, representing the best secondary schools in the country. Such schools include:

Local NJ schools: Pingry School, Delbarton School, Newark Academy, Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child, and Kent Place School.

Local NJ Boarding Schools:  Lawrenceville School, Blair Academy, Peddie School, and The Hun School.

New England Boarding Schools:  Choate Rosemary Hall, Hotchkiss, Deerfield, Phillips Academy Andover, St. George’s School, St. Paul’s School.

Prospective students and their parents can visit booths from each school and speak one-on-one with admission representatives about their schools of interest. FHCDS Director of Secondary School Counseling, Ed Thompson, encourages all to attend this invaluable event because “admission representatives are excited to meet local families and are eager to share information with them about their schools.”  Former FHCDS parent Teresa Goldman adds, "The secondary school fair shed valuable light on the many high school options available to our child.  The fair introduced us to the possibility of applying to schools that weren't on our initial list and we were able to narrow our daughter’s school list as a result of the information we received from recruiters.  The secondary school process can be a challenging one, but the secondary school fair and it's recruiters were a great help to ease the time and apprehension involved during the search process."
