Bridgewater Tide Swim Team Donates Food for Families in Need

The JCC Bridgewater Tide Swim Team not only shines in the pool, but also make an impact in the local community. 

Knowing that many people in the community do not have enough food to put on their tables and that supplies at food banks typically run low this time of year, the Bridgewater Tide Swim Team “Gold Practice Group” organized a food drive at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Bridgewater.

 The Gold Group swimmers asked their fellow team members and JCC members to donate non-perishable food items and collected more than 50 bags of food. The food drive benefitted The Somerset County Food Bank in Bridgewater.
