Barry Krafsky, 70, Served in U.S. Coast Guard

Barry "Butch" Krafsky, 70, died Dec. 26.
Butch was born and raised in Newark and lived in Roselle Park and South Carolina before moving to Bridgewater in 1998. He was employed as a custom drapery installer for Mapin in South Carolina for over 20 years.
He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard during peacetime.
Butch enjoyed watching classic TV shows, and loved his dog. In his spare time he enjoyed playing Blackjack at the Sands Casino.
He is predeceased by his wife Carol, who passed away in 1996.
Surviving are his former wife and best friend Toni Giacchetto, daughter Kim, and son Christopher.
Private services were held by Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave., Somerville. Entombment will be private at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
