David Blair Hendry, 65, Enjoyed Gardening, Woodworking in Retirement

Services will be held Dec. 6.

David Blair Hendry, 65, passed away on Dec. 2.

David Blair Hendry was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a senior designer at PS&S for over 20 years and was recently enjoying his retirement. 

He attended and sang in the choir at the North Branch Reformed Church. He loved his Volvos, gardening and wood working, but most of all his family. 

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Arleen Jenssen Hendry; father, James Hendry and mother, Winifred Hendry; his daughter, Christie Farmiga and son-in- law, Stephan Farmiga, daughter, Jennifer McManus and son-in-law, Jay McManus; beloved granddaughter, Cassidy McManus; brother, Jim Hendry, sister, June Brown, brother, Doug Hendry; father and mother in law, Art and Kathleen Jenssen; and several nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at North Branch Reformed Church, 203 Route 28, Bridgewater; lunch to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the Hendry family asks that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc., 26345 Network Place, Chicago, IL 60673-1263
