Joseph A. Swider, 56, died Jan. 17.
He was born in Newark to Frances and Joseph Swider, and lived in South Plainfield before moving to Bridgewater in 1998.
Prior to his employment as a Quality Assurance Auditor for Johnson and Johnson Ortho in Raritan, Joe was employed for Block Drug Co., in Jersey City.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling and loved his dog Lewis.
Surviving are his fiancé, Linda Barto; brother, Michael and his wife Elizabeth, and nephews James and Luke.
Services were held Monday at Bruce Van Arsdale Funeral Home, followed by a private burial.
