Loretta Orlando, 95, Moved to Bridgewater Nine Years Ago
Retired from Royal Globe Insurance in 1980.
Loretta G. Orlando, 95, died on Dec. 15.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided there for most of her life, before moving to Flemington for two years and then to Bridgewater nine years ago.
Mrs. Orlando worked as a clerk for Royal Globe Insurance in New York City for 20 years until retiring in 1980.
Loretta loved to cook and enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Stephen Orlando in 1996; her son, Stephen Jr. in 2012; and her brother, Ralph.
Surviving are her beloved son, Joseph Orlando and wife, Sharon of Flemington; her two grandchildren, Michele and Christopher; her great-grandchildren, Aaron, Melissa, and Jacob; and her sister, Mary Fabrizio of Brigantine.
A Prayer Service will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 20, at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg. Interment will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.
Viewing hours are from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at the funeral home.
