Councilman Notes Safety Makes Bridgewater a Desirable Place to Live

The recent report from the Patch that Bridgewater is the safest big town in New Jersey is a testament to the hard work, professionalism, and quality of the Bridgewater Police Department, our dispatchers, and all of our emergency responders.

The quality of life that we enjoy in Bridgewater could not occur without our police first providing a safe environment for our schools, our suburban neighborhoods, and those who work and shop in Bridgewater.

As a result, Bridgewater is able to attract quality businesses and increase property values, while at the same time maintaining one of the lowest property tax rates in the county.

I am proud of this ranking, and proud of the officers who keep us safe every day.  This is just one of the reasons why Bridgewater is one of the most desirable places to live in the state.
