Bridgewater Man Indicted on Cop Assault Charge

Denis Hudak, 49, is accused of punching a Raritan Borough police officer in the face.

A Bridgewater man was indicted last week for allegedly punching a Raritan Borough police officer in the face during an altercation last month, according to NJ.com.

Denis Hudak, 49, was charged with aggravated assault after Raritan Borough Police responded to a report of a disorderly person on July 19 and Hudak allegedly punched one of the officers in the face with a closed fist.

The officer required medical attention and Hudak remains in the Somerset County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail with the ten percent option.
