Authorities: One Dead, One Wounded in Gang-Related Shooting
Investigation continues into incident near Bound Brook Train Station.
One man was killed and another wounded in what authorities are calling a Saturday night in Bound Brook, near the rail road tracks and about a mile from the Bridgewater Township line.
According to Capt. Jack Bennett, a spokesman for the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office, Damian Williams, 24, of Teaneck, was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene. Kendell Harrell, 18, of South Bound Brook, was shot once in the abdomen and is expected to survive, Bennett said.
Bennett said Sunday the incident, which occurred Saturday at about 6 p.m., appears to involve the Bloods gang. Bennett said the victims were possible members of different sects of the gang.

The investigation remains active and anyone with information on the shooting should contact the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. Crime Stoppers of Somerset County is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for the identity and whereabouts of those responsible.
