Burglaries Being Investigated in Home, Car

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bridgewater Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Several burglaries are being investigated over the course of a week in May as police are investigating thefts of jewelry, a purse and other items.

According to Bridgewater Township Police, a Middlebrook Road resident reported around 12 a.m. May 12 that someone had smashed in the front window of the residence. The resident reported that jewelry and coins valued at $20,000 were stolen.

At around 4:45 p.m. May 17, a victim reported that someone smashed in the window of her vehicle while it was parked at , and removed her purse.

And on May 5 at 6:30 p.m., it was reported that someone entered an apartment building under construction on Bellis Court and removed 17 cases of wood flooring. The flooring was valued at $1,072.03.

Finally, Sally Knight, 65, of Annandale, was charged with shoplifting after she was allegedly found with $174.61 worth of merchandise from around 10:20 a.m. May 11.
