Charges Filed Against Those Shoplifting at Macy's

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bridgewater Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In the midst of the holiday season, the Bridgewater Township Police Department made several arrests for shoplifting, twice from .

A Plainfield man was arrested for shoplifting after he was allegedly found with merchandise from the department store.

Jermeil Baugh, 18, was allegedly found with $39.50 worth of merchandise from the store at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 2.

Several days later, a South Brunswick resident was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's as well.

Shashi Rekha, 44, was arrested after allegedly being found with $184 worth of items from the store at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 5.

In addition, police arrested a Bound Brook man for shoplifting and being in possession of burglar's tools after allegendly being found with merchandise from .

William Perez, 23, was charged after allegedly being found with $169.99 worth of items from the store.

Police also made several arrests for driving while intoxicated in the past week.

  • James Moran, 55, of Bridgewater, was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over while traveling on Union Avenue at 6:26 p.m. Dec. 2.
  • Bohdan Kalembka, 73, of New Brunswick, was charged with driving while intoxicated and obstructing the passage of other vehicles after he was pulled over while traveling on Route 22 at 12:20 a.m. Dec. 3.
