Cops: Man Charged With Giving Alcohol to Minors

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bridgewater Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Bedminster resident was arrested for providing alcohol to minors after he, and two other friends, were seen leaving the with alcohol at 8:59 p.m. Jan. 10.

Daniel Humphreys, 24, was charged with giving alcohol to a minor; Jessica Kehm, 20, of Bedminster, was charged with possession of marijuana; and Charles Burnett, 20, of Basking Ridge, was charged with underage possession of alcohol.

According to the Bridgewater Township Police Department, the three were seen exiting the Red Bull Inn with alcohol, and then getting into a car and attempting to leave.

Police stopped the vehicle before they could drive away, and found driver Kehm with a small bag of marijuana, while front seat passenger Burnett had an open bottle of vodka. In addition, police said, rear seat passenger Humphreys was noticeably intoxicated.

The Bridgewater Township Police Department also made arrests for driving while intoxicated and other charges.

  • Shannon Ruzbarsky, 25, of Manville, was charged with driving while intoxicated and careless driving after she was involved in a motor vehicle accident at 11 p.m. Jan. 13.
  • Police are investigating a burglary at the . According to police, someone broke into the building on Old York Road at 8:36 a.m. Jan. 13 and removed an unknown amount of money.
  • Kathleen Knowles, 60, of Somerville, was charged with shoplifting after she was found with food products from at 1 p.m. Jan. 14. The products were valued at $58.14.
