Cops: Two Arrested for Thefts at Lord & Taylor

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bridgewater Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Bridgewater Township Police arrested two people last week for shoplifting at in the .

Leyadda Wright, 26, of Newark, was charged with shoplifting after she was allegedly found with $75.60 worth of merchandise from the store at 5:23 p.m. Feb. 10. She was also charged with criminal mischief after she was found to have caused damage to items of clothing while trying to remove the security sensors.

Terrance Boone, 43, of Newark, was charged with shoplifting after he was allegedly found with $890 worth of merchandise from both Lord & Taylor and at 6:37 p.m. Feb. 8.

In addition, police are investigating two different thefts at the mall.

According to police, a shopper reported at 3:23 p.m. Feb. 4 that he was eating in the food court and left his iPhone unattended at the table. But when he returned, police said, the phone was missing.

And police are investigating a report at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 that someone removed 40 bras from Victoria's Secret. The items were valued at $1,920.
