A Bridgewater man convicted of killing his fiancee in a 2009 drunk driving crash the night they became engaged is seeking to reduce his sentence.
Arran Christie, 40, claims his seven-year sentence should be lessened because of rehabilitative work done during the time he's already served, reported NJ.com. Christie also says the sentence should be reduced because his attorney advised him to accept an "illegal plea agreement."
A hearing on the matter was scheduled for Oct. 2. He will be eligible for parole in March 2015.
