Into the Lion's Den: Driving under the influence is generally a bad idea. Driving under the influence in front of an officer? An even worse idea. Toms River police say a resident of a Red Roof Inn told the manager he just needed to run to the bank to get $350 owed for a bill—and that's exactly what the man did. And as it turns out, they frown on that sort of thing in Toms River. A suspect was arrested without incident after a police dog helped track him to the inn, police said.

Fences to Mend: Here's one way to blow of steam—though not one we'd suggest. Fanwood police say a man . No one was hurt, though we imagine the fence has seen better days.

That's Hot: Usually, after a night of heavy drinking, a hangover is about the worst thing you'll feel in the morning. Maybe some pangs of regret over whatever you did the night before.
