16-Year-Old Bridgewater Boy Identified as Victim Fatally Struck By Train

Accident involving Raritan Valley Line train remains under investigation.

A 16-year-old township boy was identified Friday as the victim fatally struck after stepping in front of a train in Bridgewater Thursday evening, according to an NJ Transit spokesperson.

Domenico Foti was killed Thursday evening when he at about 5:50 p.m., NJ Transit spokesperson Penny Bassett-Hackett said Friday. The incident remains under investigation, Bassett-Hackett said.

Service was halted on the line from Raritan to High Bridge and resumed at 9:45 p.m. Passengers on the train involved in the incident were taken to their destinations by bus.
