Police Blotter: Marijuana and a Car Theft

The Bridgewater Township Police Department released its police blotter.

The Bridgewater Township Police Department made one arrest for marijuana possession, and is looking for a stolen vehicle from the Maggiano's parking lot, among other incidents.

  • John Rannells, III, 19, of Branchburg, was charged with possession of marijuana Oct. 1 after police said he was stopped on Tracy Court because he was acting suspiciously. Police said they found a small bag of marijuana in Rannells' pocket.
  • Police said a patron of Maggiano's on Commons Way reported Oct. 2 that someone had removed his vehicle from the parking lot without his permission.
  • Police said someone reported Oct. 4 that an unknown person tried to gain entry into his vehicle while it was parked at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.
  • Stephanie Conturso, 25, of Belle Mead, was charged with shoplifting Oct. 4. Police said she allegedly took clothing valued at $426.97 from Lord & Taylor.
