Police Investigating $2K Theft From Target

Police make arrests for driving while intoxicated and other crimes.

Bridgewater Township Police are investigating an April 26 report of a theft of a couple thousand dollars worth of items from .

According to police, representatives with the store reported, around 2 p.m., that $2,203.44 worth of merchandise was removed from the store.

The police also made several arrests for alcohol intoxication, among other crimes.

  • David Camaiore, 23, of Bridgewater, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to exhibit a driver's license after he was pulled over while traveling on Milltown Road at 6:22 p.m. May 5.
  • Police are investigating a report made April 28 at 12:10 a.m. by a Cedarbrook Road resident, who reported that an unknown person attempted to enter his home. According to police, the report stated that the rear exterior door frame to the residence had been cracked in the entry attempt.
  • Kelvon Newborn, 28, of Elizabeth, was charged with criminal mischief after police found that he had punched two holes in the wall at Somerset Academy.
  • Matthew Tatro, 26, of Somerville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to observe a signal after he was pulled over while driving on Country Club Road May 7 at 1:57 a.m.
  • Timothy Codella, 60, Somerville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a lane, having an unclear license plate, having an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to exhibit registration documents after he was pulled over while driving on Union Avenue May 8 at 1:42 a.m.
  • Kehinde Afe, 47, of Bridgewater, was charged with shoplifting after he was found to have allegedly removed $541.05 worth of merchandise from .
