Police Investigating Several Commercial, Vehicular Thefts

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bridgewater Township police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Bridgewater Township Police Department is investigating a report of a stolen mountain bicycle from the Dawn Patrol Motorcycle Club, on Robert Street.

According to police, the report about the stolen bicycle came in at 1:30 p.m. June 1.

The mountain bicycle was valued at $250.

The township police are also investigating two more burglaries after a report came in that someone forced open the rear door of the Five Star Chinese Restaurant, on Union Avenue.

According to police, the report came in at 10:40 p.m. June 3 after it was discovered that cash had been stolen from the register.

And a vehicular burglary was reported after a Hawthorne Avenue resident found that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle and removed a GPS unit. The theft was reported at 9:30 p.m. June 6, and the unit was valued at $150.
