Police Investigating Vehicle in Pond
Police are continuing an investigation of a vehicle in the pond in front of the Met Life building on Route 22.
Traffic was slowed on Route 22 West near the Met Life building around 4 p.m. as police investigated a vehicle in the pond in front of the building.
At this time, police said, there is a still an ongoing investigation, and they declined to comment on how the incident happened or if there are any injuries.
The Bridgewater Township Police Department, North Branch Volunteer Fire Company, Somerset Medical Center and other local fire companies and rescue squads were on the scene, lined up along the side of the road to provide assistance.
