Restaurant Employee Helps Stop Alleged Drunken Driver

Man crashed his vehicle into a stone landscaping bed outside Buffalo Wild Wings last weekend, police said.

An employee at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant on Route 22 snatched the keys from a vehicle a drunken man crashed into a stone landscaping bed outside the restaurant last Saturday, Bridgewater Police said.

Thomas Rajesh, 32, of Edison, was charged with DWI, refusing to submit a breath test and careless driving after the vehicle he was driving ran over the curb and stopped on the landscaping bed, police said.

Police responded after a restaurant employee, who witnessed Rajesh's driving, removed the keys from the vehicle and called police.

Rajesh was released after the charges were processed, pending an appearance in municipal court.
