$4K in Perfume Stolen From Abercrombie, Cops Say
And a Branchburg man is arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.
Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report that someone stole a total of 92 bottles of perfume from around 2:17 p.m. Aug. 29.
According to police, the report was that someone entered the store and removed the perfume from a display shelf, before exiting the store without paying.
Police said the perfume was valued at a total of $4,968.

Bridgewater Township Police are also investigating other reports of burglary and theft from Aug. 27.
A Long Valley resident reported at 9:46 a.m. Aug. 27 that someone had broken into her vehicle while it was parked on 1011 Route 22 West between Aug. 24 and Aug. 27.

In addition, a township resident reported at 7:35 a.m. Aug. 27 that someone broke into her vehicle sometime overnight.
The resident reported, police said, that the person stole items from the vehicle valued at a total of $1,128.
Ronald Ascolse Jr., 33, of Branchburg, was charged with shoplifting after he was allegedly found with merchandise from .
The items, police said, were valued at $107.32.
Ascolse was processed and released.
