Traffic Being Diverted Because Pole Down
An earlier accident on Country Club Road took down a telephone pole.
Traffic is being diverted at the intersection of Country Club Road and Van Holten Road after an accident earlier Friday afternoon took down a telephone pole.
According to Bridgewater Township Police, a motor vehicle crash occurred that took down a pole around 2 p.m. Friday.
Police said the accident has already been cleared, but traffic is being diverted because of a live wire in the roadway.

Police said PSE&G arrived on the scene at around 4 p.m., and should have everything cleared away within about 15 minutes. No power outages occurred as a result of the pole coming down.
Traffic is currently being detoured about half a block from the left turn onto Van Holten Road from Country Club Road.
