Cops: UPS Delivery Man Stole $30K in Items

Police said Rahway resident allegedly stole electronics from the Bridgewater UPS facility.

A Rahway man was arrested Wednesday after he was found to be stealing items from a Bridgewater UPS facility, according to .

UPS delivery driver Curtis Wilson, 52, was charged with possession of stolen property.

According to police, UPS reported in March that electronic equipment had been stolen from the Bridgewater facility. An investigation began between the Bridgewater Township Police and the UPS Loss Prevention personnel.

Wilson was found to be in possession of an iPad that was determined to be stolen from UPS, after a search of his vehicle turned up UPS packaging materials, police said. In addition, after a search warrant was obtained by the Bridgewater Township Police with help from the Rahway Police Department, more electronic equipment stolen from UPS was found in Wilson's home.

Police said they found flat screen TVs, Tag Heuer wrist watches and laptop computers in Wilson's home.

According to police, all the property stolen was estimated to cost about $30,000.

Wilson was arrested with bail set at $15,000 and a 10 percent option.
