You're Allowed to Purchase A Pot, But Not Pot

Cops work together for undercover bust.

But police say a South Brunswick man  (can't be bothered to click the links? They say he had pot delivered to his home).

South Brunswick police reportedly received a tip that drugs were to be shipped to a Northumberland Way, South Brunswick, address. So Edison and South Brunswick police intercepted the package at a facility in Edison. The contents of the package included a safe that contained marijuana, police said.

Officers then went undercover and delivered the package to the residence. The man living there accepted the package and was immediately arrested, according to police. Inside the residence, officers also found two additional ounces of marijuana and $645 in cash, police said.

The man was released after posting $10,000 bail, which just goes to show: not everything is cheaper to get mail order.

No Good Deed ... Police say a volunteer at a fundraiser for pediatric cancer research . A 20-year-old staying in Kendall Park allegedly stole the volunteer's credit card, then rang up $3,500 in fraudulent charges from clothing stores, Olive Garden and a gas station. In fact, police say, the alleged thief has a history of using fraudulent cards—she's been accused in Pennsylvania and is on probation in California. Now, she who allegedly charges has been charged herself.
