Bulky Trash Drop-Off Returns in September

There will be a few dates next month.

are returning this fall, and the township has released specific dates for residents.

The drop-offs are on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 15 Polhemus Lane.

Those participating in the drop-off must present proof that they are Bridgewater residents, and trucks are not allowed on the property.

Items that can be dropped off are rugs, appliances, furniture and household trash. 

No brush is accepted, and neither are paints, chemicals, electronics and recyclables, except metals.

Air conditioners, refrigerators and tires will not be accepted.

  • Areas 1 and 2, which are west of Rt. 206—Bradley Gardens, Country Club and Meadow Road areas—can drop off their items on Sept. 15.
  • Areas 3 and 4, which are north of Route 22 between Route 206 and Chimney Rock Road—Martinsville area—are scheduled for Sept. 22.
  • Areas 5 and 6, which are east of Chimney Rock Road and south of Route 22—Thomae and Finderne areas—are scheduled for Sept. 29.
