Deadline is Next Tuesday to Register to Vote in Primaries

Next Tuesday is the last day to register to vote in the Primary Election, to be held June 4.

The Somerset County offices on Grove Street will have extended hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday for anyone still looking to register.

There will be no local race in this year’s primary as Republicans and Democrats each submitted three candidates for the three available seats.

Incumbent Republicans .

Independent candidates have until 4 p.m. June 4 to file nominating petitions to be on the November ballot.
