The township released Thursday the names of candidates running for Democratic nominations for township council and mayoral positions in the June primaries after they were reviewed because they were submitted after the April 11 4 p.m. deadline.

According to the township clerk, the petitions were filed after the 4 p.m. deadline, but still on April 11, and, after review by the legal department, were determined to be valid and the candidates were placed on the ballot.

All Democratic candidates are running unopposed for the Democratic nominations in the June primaries.
